Patients in group 6 – aged 18-65 at risk – will be invited by the practice.

If you are over 70 years old or classed as Clinically Extremally Vulnerable (shielding patient) and have not yet been offered an appointment for your Covid vaccination please contact as soon as possible so arrangements can be made.

Coronavirus

If you are worried about coronavirus please contact NHS 111 online
If you suspect you have coronavirus,
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO SURGERY. Please stay at home and ring 111 for advice. Do not use public transport or taxis. Do not go to work, school or public places. Do not just present yourself to any GP surgery or hospital without seeking advice first.

Urgent Appointments for Children – Same day help for your poorly child
If your child has become unwell in the last few days and you would like urgent advice then please contact the surgery and we will arrange for a clinician to speak to you and if necessary to see your child, today – this could save you an unnecessary trip to A+E or a Walk-in Centre. Please also refer to the Little Orange Book.

Extra Appointments/Out of Hours

If the surgery does not have any appointments or you require a GP appointment outside of normal opening hours you may be able to attend the Gateshead Extra Care Service.

Information Sharing

The NHS are proposing to allow data from you medical records to be shared by other NHS organisations in order to provide better care to all patients within the NHS and to decide where best to direct the funds and resources that the NHS has. The information would be anonymous.
You have a right to refuse to allow your data to be used in this way.
Please read the information to help you decide if you wish to be part of the information sharing programme. If you do not wish for your data to be used in this way and wish to opt out please contact the surgery or complete the Opt Out Form at the bottom of this page and send this in to us.

Surgery Closure

The surgery will be closed on the afternoons of  Thurs 23rd May, Thurs 13th June, Thurs 11th July, Wed 18th Sep, Thurs 17th Oct, Tues 12th Nov & Tues 24th March 2020 for staff training. The surgery will close at 12.30pm and reopen the following morning at 8.30am (except  Wednesdays – the surgery will open at 7am, and following a Wednesday closure the surgery will reopen at 5.30pm for evening appointments)

Online appointments are available if to patients to who have already registered for online prescriptions. If you would like to register for online appointment/prescriptions please contact reception or let us know via the Contact Form
